# Archive and Unarchive Groups

Move completed groups out of the active overview without deleting their notes.

Premium Archive removes a completed group from the normal Groups list while keeping the group and its notes intact.

## Archive a group

1. Open the group context menu or Group info.

1. Choose Archive.

1. The group leaves the All filter and appears under Archive.

> Inbox cannot be archived. Archived private groups remain available as move targets in the collapsed Archived groups section.

## Unarchive a group

1. Open Groups and reveal the filter chips.

1. Choose Archive.

1. Open the group menu and choose Unarchive.

> Unarchiving is allowed so existing archived data is recoverable. Archiving a new group requires Premium. If Premium ends, Lognote automatically unarchives archived groups so they become active again.
