# Change Theme, Language, and Accent Color

Use system, light, or dark appearance, switch between English and German, and choose an accent.

App Appearance controls Lognote’s visual theme, interface language, and accent used for actions and selected states.

## Choose theme and language

1. Open Settings \> App Appearance.

1. Under Theme, choose System, Light, or Dark.

1. Open Language and choose System, English, or Deutsch.

> System follows the current device setting. Changing the app language does not translate text you wrote in notes.

## Choose an accent color

1. In App Appearance, scroll to App accent color.

1. Choose the adaptive default accent, or select another color.

1. A checkmark identifies the current choice; a lock identifies colors that require Premium.

> The adaptive default accent is Free. Every other accent color requires Premium.

## Adjust app behavior

1. On the main Settings screen, turn on Disable Sleep Idle Timer to keep the device awake while Lognote is in the foreground.

1. On iPhone or iPad, turn Haptic Feedback on or off to control vibration for interactions such as opening a group.

> Both behavior controls are Free. Haptic Feedback is hidden on Mac because Lognote does not provide haptic feedback there.
