# Mark Notes and Groups as Favorites

Keep important notes and groups together in Premium Favorites views.

Premium Favorites create a cross-group shortlist without moving or duplicating the original note or group.

## Mark an item as a Favorite

1. Touch and hold a note or open its context menu on Mac, then choose Add to Favorites.

1. Open a group’s context menu and choose Add to Favorites to favorite the group itself.

1. Use the same menu and choose Remove Favorite when it no longer belongs on the shortlist.

> The item stays in its original group. Favorite is metadata, so removing it does not delete content.

## Browse Favorites

1. Open Favorites from the tab bar, sidebar, or overflow menu.

1. Use the Favorites segment for favorited notes across groups.

1. Open Group info \> Favorites for only that group, or use the Favorites group filter on the Groups screen.

> The Priority segment is separate: it gathers notes with !, !!, or !!! even when they are not Favorites.
