# Share a Group

Create an invite link so other Lognote users can work in one group with you.

A Premium owner can turn an existing group into a shared group. Members join for free and notes in that group sync between signed-in participants.

## Prepare the group

1. Sign in and make sure your account has a username.

1. Open the private group and choose Share group.

1. After sharing is enabled, open Group info \> Members and choose Create invite link.

> Creating and owning a shared group requires Premium. Joining one does not.

## Send and control the invitation

1. On the Invite ready screen, choose Share link and send it through a trusted channel.

1. A newly created invite link expires after seven days by default.

1. If you do not want to use the new link, choose Revoke invite while the Invite ready screen is still open.

> Anyone who receives a valid invite link can attempt to join. Share it only with the intended people.
