# Add a Location to Notes

Save current coordinates with new notes and control how the location appears.

Premium can store your current latitude and longitude with a new note, then resolve readable address details for display.

## Attach the current location

1. Open a group and choose Add attachment \> Location. You can also touch and hold Send and toggle Include location.

1. Allow location access if the system asks.

1. Wait for the Location control to show as active, then create the note.

1. Turn Location off when you no longer want subsequent notes to include updated coordinates.

> While enabled, Lognote refreshes the position for later notes. The saved note keeps the coordinates captured for that entry.

## Choose how locations appear

1. Open Settings \> Location Settings.

1. Enable or hide latitude and longitude, address, city, postal code, and country.

1. Choose a short or long country name and check the preview.

> Location is sensitive information. Review it before exporting a note or adding it to a shared group.
