# Select and Edit Multiple Notes

Select several notes to move, favorite, export, or delete them together.

Selection mode applies one action to several notes while keeping the visible group and current filters as your working scope.

## Select notes

1. Open a group and choose the overflow menu.

1. Choose Select notes, then select each note you want to include.

1. Use Select all when every currently displayed note should be included.

> On Mac, activate multiple selection from the note list and use the bulk-action toolbar above it.

## Apply a bulk action

Move sends the selected private notes to another group. Move to Inbox returns them to the unsorted Inbox. Delete sends them to Trash. Mac also offers Export for the selection.

> Marking all selected notes as Favorites requires Premium. Move actions are hidden in shared groups to preserve collaboration permissions; members can act only on notes they are allowed to moderate.
