## Step by step

1. Open Settings, Notes and the note layout page.

1. Find the timestamps section.

1. Turn timestamp visibility on or off and check the preview.

1. If a group looks different, check its individual display settings.

## What to expect

Time labels follow your setting. Hiding them does not delete the notes’ stored time information.

## Good to know

Date and time formats are in the corresponding date and time settings. Hiding timestamps changes their presentation, not the notes’ time information.
