Delete your Lognote account
You can use Lognote without an account. If you created an online account, you can request deletion in the app or by email.
In the app
Open Lognote → Settings → Account → Delete account. Read the confirmation and confirm only if you want to delete the online account. Export any content you want to keep beforehand.
Request deletion without opening the app
Email support@lognoteapp.com from the email address associated with your Lognote account, with the subject “Delete my Lognote account”. State that you want the account and associated personal cloud data deleted. Do not send your password. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before processing the request.
Which online data is affected?
The deletion process removes your account, sign-in access and associated personal cloud data, including personal synced notes, groups and supported attachments. Device/push registrations and account-bound settings are handled by the account-deletion process. Contributions to a shared group that continues for other members may remain, with your account attribution removed. Copies already saved by other members cannot be recalled.
Local notes and separate copies
Deleting the online account does not automatically erase local notes and media on your devices, exported files or backups you created. Lognote preserves local data for offline use. If you also want those copies removed, delete them separately on each device and from your own backup/export locations.
Subscriptions and records that may remain
Account deletion does not itself cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google Play. Cancel subscriptions separately in the store through which you bought them. Stores and subscription providers may retain transaction records according to their own obligations. Security/report-handling records may remain only as needed to address abuse or a specific legal obligation; older copies may remain until normal backup rotation removes them.
