For any privacy-related inquiries, please contact us at the email address above.

3. Data Collection

Lognote is designed with a privacy-first approach. The app works entirely offline and does not require an account, email address, or any personal information to use.

Data stored locally on your device: - Notes and timestamps you create - Groups and organizational structures - App preferences and settings

This data is stored exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable Cloud Sync.

4. Cloud Sync (Optional)

If you choose to enable Cloud Sync (a Pro feature), your notes are synced across your Apple devices using our cloud infrastructure. Sync data is stored on encrypted servers located in Frankfurt, Germany, operated by Appwrite. Your synced data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not access, analyze, or sell your synced content.

5. App Store & Payments

Lognote is distributed through the Apple App Store. All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs the collection of data related to downloads and purchases.

6. Analytics & Tracking

Lognote does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services within the app. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, or behavioral information. We may use anonymous, aggregated App Store analytics provided by Apple to understand download trends.

7. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

- Apple App Store: For distribution and in-app purchases - Appwrite Cloud: For optional Cloud Sync (servers in Frankfurt, Germany) - RevenueCat: For subscription management

Each service has its own privacy policy that governs data handling on their platforms.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

- Access your personal data - Rectify inaccurate data - Erase your data (right to be forgotten) - Restrict processing of your data - Data portability - Object to processing

Since Lognote stores data locally on your device, you have direct control over your data. You can export or delete your data at any time through the app. For Cloud Sync data, contact us at support@lognoteapp.com to exercise your rights.

9. Data Retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete it. Deleted notes are moved to Trash and permanently removed after 30 days. Cloud Sync data is retained as long as you maintain an active subscription. Upon cancellation, synced data is deleted from our servers within 90 days.

10. Children's Privacy

Lognote is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@lognoteapp.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
