You can use Lognote locally without an account. Sign in when you want to join a shared group or use account-based services such as Premium Cloud Sync.

  1. Open Settings > Sign in.
  2. Choose Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
  3. Complete the selected provider’s sign-in flow. Lognote creates your account automatically the first time you sign in.
  4. Optionally open Settings > Account afterward to review your signed-in identity and Sync status.
An account is optional for local use and required for account-based sync.

What signing in changes

Signing in does not make local writing dependent on the internet. Your current-device database remains the working copy. With active Premium, private groups, notes, settings, images, and eligible files can sync. A signed-in Free account receives and updates only shared groups it has joined.

A Lognote account and an Apple App Store subscription are related but separate. Restore purchases if Premium is not recognized after signing in on another device.
