Lognote is an offline-first logbook for quick, chronological notes. Capture first, then use groups, the Inbox, search, filters, and statistics to turn small entries into a useful record.

The core workflow

  1. Capture a note in a group or in Inbox. Notes are saved locally first, so writing does not depend on a connection.
  2. Open Inbox when you want to sort unsorted entries into permanent groups.
  3. Use Search, Favorites, filters, dates, or Stats when you want to find patterns or return to an older entry.
Capture quickly, then organize when it suits you.

Choose the right surface

iPhone is optimized for fast capture. iPad adds a wider split layout. Mac uses a native sidebar, tabs, menus, keyboard shortcuts, drag and drop, and multi-window workflows. Apple Watch captures text into Inbox or a selected group and queues it for delivery to the paired iPhone.

Apple Watch is a capture companion, not a full editor. A queued Watch item is complete only after the iPhone confirms delivery.

Free and Premium

Core text notes, groups, Inbox, Quick Notes, search, statistics, exports, and local backups are available without Premium. Premium unlocks cloud sync for private data, photos and files, voice and transcripts, locations and maps, priorities, Favorites, custom filters and colors, locked or archived groups, geofences, detailed audit tools, shared-group ownership, and other advanced options.

Some articles are marked Mixed because their basic workflow is Free while an advanced control inside it requires Premium.
