Every Lognote entry belongs to a group or to the reserved Inbox. The timestamp is stored with the note and the note remains editable.

Create a note

  1. Open a group or Inbox.
  2. Select the field labeled New note or Add to Inbox.
  3. Enter your text and choose Send. A line break inside the field does not submit the note.
  4. If you want timestamp-only entries, enable Settings > Display & Format > Allow Empty Notes first.
Write in place without leaving the timeline.

Edit an existing note

  1. On iPhone or iPad, swipe a note and choose Edit, or touch and hold it and choose Edit Note.
  2. On Mac, select the note in the list and edit it in the detail pane, or right-click and choose Edit.
  3. Change the text and save or submit the edit.
The note keeps its original creation time. Lognote separately records when it was edited.
