Join and Use a Shared Group

You can join a shared group without Premium. A Lognote account is required so the service can identify members and sync the shared content.

Accept an invitation

1. Open the Lognote invite link on a device with Lognote installed.
2. Sign in if asked, review the group invitation, and choose Join group.
3. Wait while Lognote loads the group, then open it from Groups.

Work as a member

1. Create text notes in the shared group and edit or delete only notes you created yourself.
2. Use author labels and system messages to understand who changed or joined the group.
3. Add a supported reaction when you want to respond without another note, or choose Report content when shared material needs review.
4. Choose Leave group in Members when you no longer want access.

Understand limits and owner Premium

Lognote and its service show the current limits for shared groups, members per group, and shared notes per day. These limits are dynamic, so rely on the value shown when an action reaches a limit.

When the owner’s Premium access ends, they can no longer create new invite links. Existing valid links can still be redeemed and the group remains writable during the configured grace period. After that period, invites can no longer be redeemed and the group becomes read-only until the owner renews Premium.
